Soybean Flour is rich in soy isoflavones, low carb, wheat-free and gluten-free. Soybean flour is obtained from roasted soybeans finely grounded into a powder. It is a rich source of proteins, as well as iron, B vitamins, and calcium. Soya flour can be used coarsely powdered as a thickening agent in gravies and sauces, or it can be added to baked goods. It is used to make fudge and other candies, pies, doughnuts, cakes and rolls, pasta, pancake mixes, and frozen desserts. Among the varieties available are full-fat, low-fat, and defatted soy flour. PTI Soya flour is high in protein and it can be added to wheat flour when making baked goods to boost the protein level of some products.
