Often called the close cousin of milk fudge, this desi treat is extensively prepared during winters. It is a very traditional sweet from the state of Punjab. Doda Barfi can be best described as an Indian version of fudge. Doda burfi is a heat desiccated sweetmeat of northern India having high-fat content along with the additional benefits of dietary fiber, which is usually absent in other dairy products.
