Rakhi, also popularly known as Raksha Bandhan, is a meaningful festival celebrated yearly in memory of the relational bond shared between siblings. Usually, it's a custom tradition for sisters to tie Rakhi to their brother's wrist and offer a piece of sweet by wishing them a prosperous and happy life ahead.
As a return compliment, brothers swear to love, take care of and protect their sisters. In recent times, brothers also started the trend of tying rakhis to their sisters representing their love towards each other. In addition, siblings exchange gifts with each other on this rakhi or raksha bandhan festival day.
