Summer has already entered and the scorching Sun with the humidity makes us drink more and more water intake. In the summer season, people tend to lose more weight as we intake more liquid food than solid food.
Simple shakes and smoothies are the easiest and quickest way to soak all the food's nutrients, be it veggies or fruits or nuts etc. These simple shakes which we are going to list below are not only delicious, and nutritious but also are an instant dose of energy in our daily diet. They can also treat your skin by making it glow aiding in your weight loss.
1) PAPAYA SHAKE/SMOOTHIE
In a blender add the papaya pieces, grounded ice, crushed or normal flaxseeds and blend together with a little water if needed.
2) MIXED FRUIT SMOOTHIE
Orange Pieces (Peeled and seedless)
Carrot (Small Piece)
Cucumber Pieces (Optional)
Ginger Piece (A very tiny piece)
Peeled Lemon Piece ( 1/4th)
Water (To Dilute)
In a juicer, add all the fruit pieces and the listed ingredients and blend them well together. You can skip the sweetener as it's already sweet enough.
3) DETOX HEALTHY SHAKE/SMOOTHIE
1 Small Glass of Milk
1/2 Small Bowl of Beetroot Pieces
1 Small Bowl of Carrot Pieces
In a mixer, add all the pieces ofbeetroot and carrots and have a quick blend first. Then add the milk to the crushed beetroot-carrot mix and blend further to make a thick smoothie. Add water if required.
4) Raspberry, Nuts and Peach Shake/Smoothie
1 Cup of Peach Pieces Sliced
1 Cup of Sliced Raspberry
A Small Cup of Nuts ( Cashew, Groundnuts, Almonds )
A Little of Water ( To Blend Well )
In a juicer add all the fruit pieces and nuts together with a little water and grind them into a thick shake or a smoothie. This vibrant and flavourful smoothie with nuts is rich in taste and never lets your kids avoid it.
5) KIWI & MELON SMOOTHIE
1 Cup of Diced Melon
½ Cup of SlicedKiwi
Water ( To Blend )
Blend the fruits together with a spoon of water and wait until the mixture turns pulpy. The smoothie is so refreshing and pulpy that serves as a snack by itself in this hot summer.
