PREPARING FOR CHRISTMAS

Preparing For Christmas - Simply Desi | Indian Restaurant

As Christmas day approaches, we need to prepare alot for the day early by simply making a list of To-Do things. This makes us feel at ease since we get already ready for the most important festive day of the year. Once the list is made, all the other chores will be more manageable.

To be honest, it's always a helpful and handy time when we pre plan the things in advance for a holiday. In short, you can avoid unnecessary stress, chaos, debt etc and stay in peace for alot of handful time if you have a pre-planned list for the eve of Christmas.

MUST TO-DO LIST TO GET READY FOR CHRISTMAS PREPARATION

1. SET A BUDGET

Before planning any event or celebration or partying for Christmas, setting a budget is very important which helps u prepare for the festive day wisely. Involve everything you wish to buy or need. Things like outing expenses, food, Christmas greeting cards, return gifts for friends and visitors expenses, parking expenses etc. Write down all the things you need to spend bucks on to get a better idea of what you will need for sure to manage your money and crap out unnecessary things from the list.

2. DECIDE ON WHO IS HOSTING THE EVENT ON CHRISTMAS DAY

If by chance you are hosting the event on a festive day, you have a perfect reason to prepare beforehand for every arrangement you need to make on that particular day. List out the required tools, food, and party needed stuff and sort it out prior to the day to make you feel at ease. You must be inviting family, friends, acquaintances etc which needs quite a beforehand preparation too.

3. MAKE A CHRISTMAS DAY PLAYLIST TO GET INTO THE FESTIVE MOOD

Making a playlist for the festive day is also an impetus part as the visitors and family when getting together to celebrate, need that mood to party wholeheartedly. So the playlist helps alot to set up that atmospheric mood.

4. DECORATE THE HOUSE & EVERYTHING

Decorate the walls of your house with wall hangings, and chalk drawings. Especially the XMAS tree and the house front with Christmas star lights in advance. Prepare a lot of cookies and eatables too.

5. SEND OUT THE INVITATIONS IN ADVANCE

Sending out the invitations for the Christmas party/event in advance is the priority as your family members and relatives, friends need to travel from different parts and areas to come to gather at one place. So sending out prior invitations helps them sort alot of things and important stuff to be carried to.

6. PURCHASE PRESENTS BEFOREHAND

On the eve of Christmas, we do present gifts to our family and friends for sure. So purchasing the gifts prior to the event helps in saving time and also sorting out what kind of in-budget gifts you can buy during the sale days.

7. LIST OUT THE RECIPES & PREPARE FOOD BEFOREHAND WHENEVER YOU CAN

Food like homemade cookies, candies, chocolates etc can be stored for a few weeks before the festive day. So preparing and cooking them prior to Christmas day saves an ample amount of time. Even listing out the recipe ingredients and keeping on hand the complete list of required items that have to be cooked on a festive day helps avoid stress and confusion at the last moment.

8. CHECK ON THE DELIVERY MAIL SERVICES

Keeping track of the delivery mail services available helps alot in avoiding the last minute stress. Since sending presents and gifts to the family members who cannot celebrate the event with you together, is the most important thing, checking on the mail services is also a prior work on your to-do list.

In short, to help ahead always start planning for an event or festival beforehand. It is important to remember that if you are ready with everything planned prior to the day, this will allow you to enjoy the fullest when the festive day comes on. This time can be spent with the one you love without stressing yourself out.
