Deep Coconut Chutney is a South Indian chutney-side-dish and condiment. The condiment is made with coconut pulp ground with other ingredients such as tamarind and green chilies. It is served with Idli, Dosa, and vade. As it is low in carbohydrates compared to flour such as wheat and corn, it is useful for people with diabetes because it has a mild impact on blood glucose levels. It can be consumed in a small quantity, 2 - 3 teaspoons daily.
