It’s low in fat and high in Omega 3 Fatty Acids (for all you health-conscious people on here!). It’s recommended that pregnant and breastfeeding women get enough omega-3s. Health experts recommend eating fish at least once or twice each week.
Fish Curry Recipe using MDH Fish Curry Masala
Use clean and cut fish and place in a bowl. Marinate the fish with turmeric powder, red chili powder, garlic paste, and salt. Keep aside for 20 minutes. Pour mustard oil into a deep frying pan and fry the marinated fish. Set aside.
Roast the mustard seeds, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, garlic cloves, and red chilies in a pan on low flame. Blend the above ingredients in a blender along with the chopped tomatoes and turmeric powder and blend until it makes a fine paste. Pour 2 tablespoons of mustard oil into a pan and let it heat on medium flame. Add the paste and salt to the pan and let it cook for 3-4 minutes. Add half a glass of water and let the gravy simmer on low flame. Keep adding water until you receive the desired consistency, and the gravy is cooked well. You will know this is done when the oil separates from the gravy mixture. Add the fish pieces, MDH Fish Masala, and let it simmer for another 5-10 minutes.
