Peel and chop the bottle gourd into small pieces. Add salt to it.
After 10 minutes, squeeze the water from bottle gourd slices.
Chop the onions and green chillies into small slices.
Take a vessel. Add the rice flour, bottle gourd pieces, onions and green chilli slices and salt to taste.
Mix them well. Take a plastic sheet and spread it into flat circles and slowly droop each circle into the heated oil. Let them fry until they turn into golden brown colour.
Serve the crispy fryums with rice or take alone as a snack.
Recipe Note
* Ginger, Curry leaves and coriander leaves paste can be added.
* Mustard seeds, cumin seeds can be added to the batter for flavour.
