1 Cup of Meal Maker/Soya Chunks

2 Medium Sized Onions

2 Medium Sized Tomatoes
2 Large Slit Green Chillies

1 Tsp of Ginger Garlic Paste

10 Cashew Nuts

1 Pod of Curry Leaves

Small Piece of Butter
3 Tsp of Oil

Salt To Taste

1/4 Tsp of Turmeric Powder
-
1 Tsp of Red Chilli Powder

1/2 Tsp of Garam Masala

1/2 a Bunch of Coriander Leaves
Directions
1. Soak the meel maker chunks for 10 minutes and then boil them in a few spoons of water.
- 2. After 3 whistles put off the flame.
3. Finely chop the tomatoes, onions and green chillies.
4. Grind the mixture of tomato, onion, green chillies, cashew nuts into a paste.
5. Heat oil in a pan. Add the grinded paste and curry leaves to the mixture gravy. Fry the curry on a medium flame.
6. Add the ginger-garlic paste and mix well. Leave the mixture for about 5 minutes.
7. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and boiled soya chunks along with water to the previous gravy mixture. Mix well.
8. Let it cook for about 10 minutes. Add the soaked cashew nuts and butter to it.
9. Make sure that the curry becomes gravy. Turn off the flame.
- 10. Take the curry into another bowl and garnish it with coriander leaves.
11. Serve it with roti, pulka, naan, chapati or rice.
Recipe Note
• Curry can be done without ginger-garlic paste.
• Fennel seeds can be added at last in place of cashew nuts.
• Adding few basil leaves gives nice aroma to the curry.
• Soya chunks curry is good to lower the body cholesterol mainly for weight loss.
